The Shared Vision
Willmar, MN
14 years ago Kandiyohi County bought an existing downtown Willmar bank building, along with its contents, and moved in. As part of a recent self examination process, the County reviewed its work practices and determined that the concept of “One Office, Merged Culture, Exemplary Service” made sense to move the County into the next step of its development. Engan Associates was hired to help define this next step and design the space that would empower the County to achieve it.
Innovative Design
The design provided a flexible layout allowing for many options and configurations now and into the future. The focus of the renovation was twofold: 1) to improve customer service and 2) increase staff efficiency. Staff are now working in the building and report strong satisfaction with the quality and efficiency of their new work environment.
