The new Lake Allie Bathhouse in Buffalo Lake, MN is currently under construction and expected to be completed in the summer of 2025. The project is funded in part by a Minnesota DNR Outdoor Recreation Grant, matched by the county. The project includes replacing the old 435 sq ft vault restroom with a modern, 1,148 sq ft restroom and shower facility. The upgraded bathhouse will feature two showers and two toilets on the women’s side, and two showers, a toilet, and a urinal on the men’s side, along with a new septic system. As of June 2025, construction crews have started building the bathhouse, and improvements will continue throughout the summer. Once finished, the bathhouse will significantly enhance Lake Allie County Park, offering modern amenities.
